“Stories behind” is a participative art project aiming to visualise questions and thoughts that arise in society while talking about HIV and AIDS. The focus lies on individual stories connected to the topic which come from affected people, passersby, experts or just your neighbour or best friend – stories from everyone.
This project has been taken place in the Global Village of the AIDS 2018 Conference in Amsterdam. The project is a platform to share and exchange experiences, anecdotes, misunderstandings, surprises or personal opinions one wants to share with the world. The aim is to provoke thoughts, ideas, discussions and questions.
