Nose reconstruction

In this project for the AO Surgery Reference, the focus was on nose reconstruction, addressing small superficial to large deep defects. Presented here is a small selection of illustrations showcasing the reconstruction techniques.

One-stage nasolabial flap

The one-stage nasolabial flap technique is employed for small superficial defects within the sidewall or nasal ala.

    Three-stage forehead flap

    This reconstruction technique involves three stages and is used for thick, deep defects encompassing multiple nasal units.
